1. 会议介绍
    随着我国社会的老龄化程度的加剧及残疾人事业的需要，康复医学与康复工程技术在我国越来越受重视。为了适应及促进我国康复事业的发展，将于2012年5月17-18日在上海举办国际康复医学工程会议（International Conference of Rehabilitation Medical Engineering），期待建立一个全国性产学研医用管的综合性技术交流平台，大会力求培育成一个具有国际影响力的高水平、综合性康复医学工程会议。
    本次大会与2012年5月17-19日在上海世博展览馆举办的首届中国国际养老服务业博览会暨第七届中国国际康复护理展览会同期举办，博览会将吸引康复、保健、老年人服务等企业、单位参加，展示国内外康复辅具、老人护理设备、保健娱乐设施等产品。国际康复医学工程大会与博览会将相互促进，吸引更多的企业和专家学者参与学术交流或洽谈合作，参会代表将有机会及时了解国内外最新的康复工程技术与康复辅具产品。

本次会议将邀请国内外著名专家作专题报告，会议将集聚国内外从事康复工程与康复医学的研究人员和医务人员，广泛开展学术交流、共同促进康复医学工程的发展与应用。
本次大会将出版电子版论文集，录用的学术论文将推荐到《中国数字医学》（核心期刊）、《中国康复医学杂志》（核心期刊）等杂志发表。评选出的优秀会议论文将推荐到国际英文期刊发表。欢迎大家积极投稿！
 
5.1 征文范围（包括但不限于）

5.2 征文要求
1)论文未提交其它会议或未被期刊录用发表
2)论文撰写语言：英文、中文均可。英文论文按IEEE会议文章格式，模板可从会议网页下载。
3)论文包含：文章题名、作者署名、单位（通讯地址、邮编）、摘要、关键词、引言、正文、结论、参考文献。文章长度限制在2～4页A4纸。
4)中文论文需提供英文题名、作者、单位（通讯地址、邮编）、摘要、关键词。
5)论文提交方式：只接受电子投稿（同时提交Word与Pdf格式文件）；来稿必须使用Word2003排版。
6)投稿者请在论文最后写上通讯作者姓名、单位、通信地址、电话（手机号码）及E-mail地址，以便联络。

1. Conference Introduction
With rapid aging of population and increasing need to take care of people with disabilities (PWD), rehabilitation medicine, engineering and technology have been playing a more and more important role in dealing with the emerging social issue. Rehabilitation medical engineering takes an interdisciplinary approach to ameliorate the quality of life for disabled and elderly people. The aim of the inaugural International Conference of Rehabilitation Medical Engineering (CRME) is to cultivate a high level forum of exchange among health care and medical professions, clinical rehabilitation givers, scientific researchers, technological engineers and government officials. The main theme of the conference is “Advance Technologies for Better Rehabilitation”.
In conjunction with the CRME, the China International Elderly Service Expo and the 7th China International Exhibition of Rehabilitation, Nursing & Healthcare (China Aid 2012) will be held during May 17-19 at World Expo Park in Shanghai. In the past decade, the China Aid Expo has attracted a large number of rehabilitation industries, health care professions, elderly service agencies, and business/enterprises to participate and to showcase their rehabilitation devices, assistive facilities, health care equipment and other rehabilitation related products. This year, the CRME 2012 will attract more enterprises, experts and scholars to participate in academic exchanges and in product exhibition. Industrial representatives will have the opportunities to keep abreast of the latest development in rehabilitation medical engineering and assistive technology.

5. Call for Papers
The Organizing Committee has invited distinguished scholars and researchers abroad and domestic to give keynote and plenary speeches. The CRME conference is calling for papers from academic and medical researchers engaged in research in rehabilitation engineering and medicine at home and abroad to submit papers and to attend the conference.
The accepted papers will be published on electronic version. High quality papers will be recommended to “Chinese Digital Medicine”, “China Rehabilitation Medicine” and other professional journals for publication. Excellent papers selected from the conference will be recommended to the international journals for consideration of publication.

5.3 Manuscript Requirements
1) Originality:
   Paper has not been submitted to or published in other conferences or journals.
2) Language:
English or Chinese
3) Format:
   English language papers should follow the IEEE conference paper format, which can be downloaded from CRME conference websites provided in the following.
   Chinese language papers must include paper title, author names, affiliations (address and zip code), abstracts, keywords, introduction, methods and materials, conclusion and references.
Papers written in Chinese should also provide paper title, author names, contact information (address and zip code), abstracts and keywords in English.
4) Submission procedure: paper must be submitted electronically in both WORD and PDF format through the website. The documents should be edited by Word2003 and no more than four pages, the paper template can be found in the conference websites, http://med-x.sjtu.edu.cn/ire./ http://re.usst.edu.cn/http://www.china-aid.com.
