2024年4月26日北京协和医院骨科的仉建国、吴南，香港中文大学的高波、香港大学的钟培言等合作，在美国国家科学院官方科学周刊杂志Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the United States of America(通常简称为PNAS)发表题为：“Core Planar Cell Polarity Genes VANGL1 and VANGL2 in Predisposition to Congenital Vertebral Malformations”的研究论文。
